ABOUT
Tarika Holland is a performing artist based in Augusta, GA. Her talents range from dance, spoken word and poetry, acting, and modeling.
Art player a significant role in her childhood, but her journey really began as a student at Davidson Fine Arts. She performed in many shows such as a dance soloist in the 2017 Emerging Artists, Footloose! The Musical, A Wrinkle In Time, and Shakespeare’s The Tempest. Tarika truly began to make a name for herself when she branched outside of high school. She’s been a featured performer in a variety of open mics, festivals, visual performances, and dinner theatre shows. She graduated from Davidson in 2019 and continued her dance studies at Valdosta State University where she was soloist of the Fall Dance Concert, Unbound, her first semester there. Although her path led her in a different direction, she moved back home to continue her work as a freelance performing artist.
She published her first book, “Through the Eyes of Is0lated Beauty” in November 2020. She was amongst the first set of students of Anthony R. Page's Studio Blue Acting Conservatory where she trained and studied in Atlanta, GA. Recently, she played several roles such as a Narrator and Dancer in the debut of a new stage play, “Our Love Story,” based on a native Augusta couple who’s been married for 75 years, and she also made her performance debut in Newport News, VA for the first Asylum in Concert Show curated by Daeno Entertainment. She has also started “Becoming the Artist,” first as a book series which shares her games and gems for becoming the best artist you can be, both onstage and beyond the lights, and the first volume was published August 2024. Tarika’s intention is to touch, heal, and inspire others through her art no matter the element.
